We were already a big fans of the show Top Gear, but the highlight of the season would have to have been the Bugatti Veyron test of it's top speed claims!

More than just a test of an outstanding automobile, the almost... operatic way in which the lead-up to the final top speed run was presented had us at the edge of our seats.

10 radiators, 16 cylinders, 1000BHP 200mph+ (400kmh+) all backed with an apt soundtrack to stage the moment and build the suspense.

As a car... a wonderful, precision built piece of machinery.

As a show... an exceptional display of dramatic theatre!
