There
are a number of rules that need to be followed when doing any
type of motion filming.
One
of those is the 'Crossing the Line' rule.
This
rule is basically used to keep continuity with the images so that
the mind of the viewer doesn't get confused.
Crossing
the line is a way to always keep the camcorder to one side of
the subject to help better convey the 'story' of what's going
on.
You
see it a lot when a person is being interviewed.
