2009 Honda CRF250R - Motocross Bike First Ride

The CRF250R smoked the competition in 2008, the 2009 Honda CRF250R is even better!

Riders love the ergonomics of the CRF250R. Easy to move around on and the controls are right where you need them.

The frame is same twin spar aluminium as last year and it gets once again fully adjustable Showa suspension.

The 2009 Honda CRF250R gets an upgraded cylinder head to give the motorcycle more top-end and add to that testers found a real 'snap' of power on twisting the throttle. The bottom end is STRONG!!!.

Overall the fit and finish of the 2009 Honda CRF250R is excellent as usual all components are top quality.

The bike has been fitted with lighter 'wave' type rotors to enhance breaking. The clutch pull is light, easy and the gear changes are smooth. Not a problem was found with the transmission.

The suspension feel was good although the fork action was initially on the stiff side. Adjustment of the compression clickers quickly sorted this out.

As always the Honda CRF250R with its twin exhausts looks hot and the bike is ready to rock straight out of the crate.
