There are a number of options depending on your ability to construct things:

• Rectangular box - manual lifting of dirt bike
• Dirt Bike "lift" stand - lifts bike using a foot operated lever
• Scissor "lift" stand - usually used for pit bikes so you can work on them while standing.
• Stand incorporating a toolbox/shelf at base.

I personally wouldn't make one but I bet my brother would know how to make a dirt bike stand.

If you are handy with a bit of welding and have some steel lying around you can make a dirt bike stand that is very easy to use and cart around.

This is the first stand I had with my CR125. Before that I was just using wooden blocks on top of milk crates.

It is just a basic rectangle with a long arm to give you the leverage to lift your bike off the ground.

To workout what height to make the stand, measure the ground clearance under your bike with it unloaded (suspension at full length).

The arm is approximately 1 to 1.2meters long which makes it easy to lift the bike off the ground and get the rear wheel spinning free.

It only needs to be about 300mm wide (1 foot).

I actually bought myself a lift stand at a good price, but if you really have to know how to make a dirt bike stand this is a great start .
