Kawasaki Dirt Bikes - Are Kawasaki Being Left Behind?

Kawasaki dirt bikes - About 10 years ago, Kawasaki dirt bikes headed up by the KX125 and KX250 were extremely fast and popular. The KDX200 was a 'trail weapon' and even the dated KX500 had it's following in desert races.

A loyal band of riders who grew up on competitive mini bikes like the KX65 and KX80 made the natural progression to the larger team green bikes.

Then what happened…

Well, nothing really. Kawasaki dirt bikes stayed the same.

Pro's like Carmichael & Stewart made them look good which is always a help from a marketing point of view. But dirt bike riders are a savvy, competitive bunch and wont be fooled by slick marketing.

So Kawasaki dirt bikes had to do something, make changes, innovate and redevelop. And they did.

It's great to see that Kawasaki dirt bikes are back with a vengeance. It started in 2003 with KX 125. Updated frame, plastics and powerplant was welcomed by all Kawasaki fans.

With the high performance four stroke revolution Kawasaki dirt bikes now has the KXF 250 & the KXF 450 Motocrossers. No doubt off-road to be released as enduro registrable versions in the future.
