Most
motocross riders know the feeling of arm pump. What are the causes
and how can you treat or prevent it?
Not
riding enough can cause arm pump, that is your general fitness.
Tension
can cause arm pump. If your riding tense u tend to do the 'death
grip' on your bars.
Not
gripping the bike with your knees to give your arms a break can
cause motocross arm pump.
So
what could you do to prevent arm pump?
Heres
a few tips:
- Ride
regularly.
- Stretch
your forearms before you ride
- Don't
wear tight gloves
- Get
your blood flowing
- Try
using smaller diameter handgrips
- Stretch
AFTER each race and race/ride day
