Techniques - Fast and Slow Editing
You
can seriously effect the look and feel of your movie or video
once you get into the editing suite.

What
it refers to is the length you allow a particular shot to run

to long, lingering and sweeping shots.
A
manic paced scene is best conveyed by short clips cut together
to convey movement, tension and pace.
