Many people ask the question - "Should I buy Pep Boys dirt bikes?

Now there is no definitve answer that covers everybody who wants to start riding dirt bikes.

First thing to do is to work out just exactly what you want to do with your new bike.

• Do you want to race?
• Is it just for your kids to ride in the yard?
• Do you want to do jumps?
• How heavy are you?

Pep boys dirt bikes are generally imports from (I think) China or Korea. They are therefore generally not made with the same quality and sturdiness of say a Honda or Kawasaki mini dirt bike.

You also have to consider that Pep Boys is not a specialist dirt bike store. They have a bit of everything to do with auto accessories.

To put it another way, it's a bit like going to a boat shop to buy a jetski or an electrical store to buy a sofa.

So if you're hardcore, will knock your dirt bike around you might be better off going to a specialist dirt bike retailer.

But if you want some low cost fun, are a bit of a handyman in case something goes wrong then Pep Boys dirt bikes might be just the thing for you.
