Constantly
being bombarded with images, demands and worries can make life
stressful. Here are top ten relaxation techniques for children
to help calm them and your nerves at the sametime:
Meditation
- The practice of meditating to improve your mood has been
increasing in popularity in Western countries, and as high stress
levels are a problem with many modern workplaces, what better
way to relax and calm the mind. I actually do the meditating,
but I find it calms my daughter down and she goes off to sleep
:P
Exercise
- get your kids hyped up, excited and running around like crazy!
The relaxation comes when they 'crash'... lol
Massage
- a condensed version of an adult massage is usually enough to
help relax your child.
Pets
- taking a walk with your faithful friend or just sitting with
them for a pat. In the moment you realize you have no worries,
no stress. Just you and your best friend. calm pets make for calm
children.
Music - soothing music, calming music, music that flows.
A peaceful melody that can take you away.
