Now this video at the time of 'print' by "applemilk1988" has been out for less than a week, but already has over 1000 comments and in excess of 100,000 views!

It is basically a girl's monologue about all manner of things from her trip to Japan to battles with adsense.

She continually promotes herself and cross promotes her websites by inviting viewers to subscribe, click links and visit her various social networking pages.

As you watch her 'perform' in front of the camera it is easy to see she is an actress (maybe not professional) that has assumed a character and she plays out the role with much flair and exhuberance.

I must be too old as the subject matter or subject itself was not really of much interest to me personally, but it's hard to go past the fact that she appeals to a great many viewers.

So tip number 10 for topping youtube video is to be a pretty girl, make comment/bang on about yourself, your life, your promotion tool of choice (youtube) then cross promote it on social networking sites (myspace, facebook etc.) and build your subscriber base every chance you can get!
